An Ode to Daisy

Our dog Daisy is such a good sport. She gets her tail pulled, naps disturbed and isn't the center of attention anymore (just to name a few). But she doesn't seem to mind. She might growl a little at Rylan if he's pulling her tail but she has NEVER snapped at him or try to bite him. I made the mistake of showing Rylan how Daisy can shake hands. So now Rylan follows poor Daisy around constantly saying "Shake Dais" and then grabbing her paw. So I salute you Daisy...your the best dog a little boy could ask for!!

Like Frather, Like Son

For Father's Day last year, I got Cory a subscription to Sports Illustrated (Cory loves it). Anyways, after Cory is done reading (sometimes before if it's left lying around) Rylan will get a hold of it. He LOVES to look through it and point out all the balls and look at the pictures. It is the funniest thing, he is taking after his Daddy that's for sure. Luckily, Rylan isn't impressed with recent swimsuit issue that we received. However, I cannot say the same for Cory ;)

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

This past week Rylan finally got to play in the snow. And boy did we have a lot of it!! So we bundled him up to the point where he could barely move and let him play in the snow. Then the next day (which was a beautiful day) our friends came over and the kids played (and the adults might have played a little too). We had such a good time and even Nana and Paw got in on the action. Rylan really enjoyed it but I'm now ready for spring, we have had enough of this cold. What happened to global warming?
